Master James R. Adkins was the first person in Arizona to hold an 8th degree black belt in Kenpo under Master Larry Tatum and also holds black belts in Kung Fu and  Ninjutsu.

 Master Adkins  has been involved with the martial arts for over 34 years - teaching more than 33 years.

Master Adkins is a member of

"The World Martial Arts Hall of Fame"

and

"THe United States Martial Arts Hall of Fame"

We are "Old School" in our ways of teaching Our Arts.

We do not babysit, or rent out the Dojo for Parties.

We pride ourselves in the way we were taught and how we grow our Art and our Students.

We are not a "McDojo" Who will stamp you into a mold, charge you for a test and pass you because you pay.

You are an individual and will be treated and taught as such.

Our system is based on Real Self Defense for Real Life situations, not the latest fad.

We also pride ourselves on the personal growth that comes with learning a "True Martial Art", from "Real Instrutors" who have been there. Not just from books or videos.

Master James R. Adkins

Like most of the martial arts, Kenpo's roots can be traced back to China. Our defined system and the foundation it's built on comes from the theories set forth by the Father of American Kenpo, Ed Parker. These foundations were further expanded by Master Tatum and now further explored by  Master James R. Adkins. "Kenpo is a self-perpetuating art that continues to grow with every new student. "

Our Kung Fu is drawn from Modern day WuShu and The Teachings of the Shaolin temple.

Our Ninpo is from The Togakrue Ryu
